Hi, my name is Wynke. I'm an open source fan from the South of the Netherlands, where I still live with my husband and my child. I studied Computer Science and Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, and during my studies I discovered open source through computer club Stack. This still matters a lot to me, which is why I try to contribute to the open source community in my own way.

I'm a board member of the T-DOSE foundation, which organises the T-DOSE conference every year. I also used to be involved in organising FOSDEM, but I stopped doing that when it turned out that organising two conferences, one of which in another country, and taking care of a child as well was a bit too much for me too handle.

Other than that, I can often be found at the Eindhoven hackerspace Hackalot, I try to go for a (slow) run regularly, and I crochet things, in particular amigurumi (small soft toys). I like to read, I enjoy writing, and maths make me happy. I'm good at finding four leaf clovers and I'm trying to learn Spanish and Danish. My favourite Pokémon is Eevee.
