I love my netbook because it's much easier to carry around than a normal laptop, but also because it's more practical than a full size laptop when lounging on the sofa. But I've often been sitting on the sofa being not quite comfortable, because I had no place to put it other than on my lap. Putting it on the arm rest would be ideal, but the arm rests of our sofa are too narrow, and a soft surface isn't very good for a laptop anyway. So, I made two of these armrest netbook tables.

I got this bear from my mother when I was still practicing judo. She made its judo suit, and it used to get new coloured belts whenever I reached a new grade. When I got into Aikido and started wearing a hakama, I decided the bear needed one of those too, so I made one. It is made to a real pattern, complete with pleats and all. I've since made several more, and suits too, as gifts for people from my aikido group.
