As you will probably have guessed from the title of this site, my name
is Wynke. Despite the fact that Wynke is a Frysian name, I'm not Frysian
myself - I've lived in Noord-Brabant, a province in the south of the
Netherlands, all my life. I was born in Breda in 1977, moved westward in
1979 with my family, and then eastward on my own in 1996, to Eindhoven,
where I am still living today, together with my husband.
After finishing my degree in computer science, I kept on studying to
become a teacher, and I've recently finished the courses I need to
be a qualified teacher in computer science. I've done some teaching of
both computer science and mathematics in the past couple of years.
However, I'd like to broaden my horizon somewhat right now, and as such,
I'm currently working outside the education field.
Computers, math and languages are three things I love, and computer
science, in which I got a Master's degree from Eindhoven University
of Technology, combines all three. However, my interests are much wider
than that. I'm also interested in philosophy and psychology, among other
things, and my hobbies include cooking, reading, writing, making things
and several sports (though not by any means at Olympic level).
