Okay, so it seems we'll use a US-style college setting in our VN.
However, as a Dutch high school student, I know nothing of US colleges, only some stuff about Dutch universities.
To get the scenes right, I'll need to know what Roy will likely do at college and at what times.
-At
US colleges, do you pick a 'field of study' (computer technology,
mathematics, medicine, etc) and do you get subjects corresponding to
that field of study?
-Do you get lectures at college?
-If so, how often and at what times? Are they mandatory or can they be skipped without any problems?
-What other stuff does a college student do at college?
^That kind of stuff would be useful to know. Can anyone tell me the things I need to know?
(Also,
if you pick a field of study, what are Roy, Emma and David studying
exactly? (They're all studying the same thing, as they're working on a
project together.))

Over
here the main field you're gonna specialize in is called your major.
You can also do double majors or get a minor in something. Lectures,
yeah, some teachers do and some don't. Some write on the board, some
have Powerpoint presentations and some just play videos (yay, American
education). Mandatory or not depends on the teacher, really. Uh, I
think we do anything other college students do? Go to class, study,
eat, laze about, make friends, clubs and on-campus activities... my
college even has a game room with pool tables and arcade cabinets and
stuff, I suppose others have stuff like that too. There's dorm life too
which I'm unfortunately not experienced with, since I commute, but it
probably ranges from quiet and laid-back to a drunken frat boy party
lifestyle.
Uh, would you want the three of them to be in a science-oriented major? Engineering? Or something like liberal arts, lol

Also, you can now drink as much as you can before dying, since you'd usually be at the legal age by this time.
Ah,
okay, I think I know enough to at least write scene ideas now...but if
I still screw up, please point out what I'm screwing up on.
