Forum

Stack has a webforum to facilitate communication between members. This forum is open to everybody (registration required), but articles may be retromoderated when deemed inappropriate. The software used is phpbb (version 3), which is used by many forums. The forum is maintained by the Webmasters: contact them if you have any questions about the forum.

At the moment the forum is still experimental, although it should be fully functional. The forum is intentionally not linked to the newsserver: it is a different service in it's own right. Other communication media at Stack include email, IRC, personal messaging and of course this wiki. Some people may prefer a different platform than others and hopefully the forum appeals to some Stack members as well.
