Virtual hosting

Stack offers members and students associations the opportunity to host their webpages on the Stack webservers. The base URL of your website is generally http://www.stack.nl/~username/. If you have your own (DNS) domain name (e.g. mydomain.nl), then you can even host your web pages at Stack using your own hostname (www.mydomain.nl). This is commonly called virtual hosting. Setting this up requires special configuration of the Stack webserver and the DNS settings of your domain. Please contact the Unix Committee if you want to know more about the requirements and possibilities.

Stack does not offer domain name registration services.
